My new Chinese Cookbook is out!  The book launch was on 23 June.  The cookbook is available in all major bookstores and Towngas outlets.

My new cookbook was launched with a press conference at the Victoria Seafood Restaurant in Citic Tower.   The event was sponsored by Towngas and was arranged through the kindness of Doreen Leung.  The venue was sponsored by the Victoria Seafood Restaurant.

Monaco Gala

I recently attended the Third Annual Gala for the '99 Leading Entrepreneurs of the World.  The event was held on 26-29 April in Monte Carlo, Monaco.  I attended as a returning honoree.

In Monte Carlo, I met up with Cheng Ming Ming for whom I had nominated an award.  She was one of this year's honorees! 

I also met up with my friend, Christy Wei Yi Chong, who had flown in from Vancouver especially to visit with me.  Christy, formerly a DJ, is now in the PR business.

I had a wonderful time even though my visit got off to a shaky start when the airline lost all my luggage. Luckily, my luggage was eventally found and the bags were delivered to the hotel just hours before the gala dinner! 

The next few days were full of wining, dining and making friends.  I had to make an impromptu speech at the presentation ceremony which everyone found entertaining and I recall thinking to myself that I might be able to make a living as a stand up comedienne!
